Privacy Policy for Abyssal Bits
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Abyssal Bits ("the Game", "we", "our") handles information when you play. Abyssal Bits is developed by NgDinhNha ("the Developer"). By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Store
Abyssal Bits stores your game progress locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. No account, login, or cloud sync is required or offered. Specifically, the Game stores:
- Character data: class, level, floor progress, gold, inventory, equipment, quests, and skill loadouts.
- Game settings: music and sound effect volume.
- Local crash diagnostics: the most recent crash context and stack trace, used only to help diagnose problems if the Game crashes. This data stays on your device and is not automatically transmitted anywhere.
None of this data is linked to your identity, and the Game does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
2. Android Backup and Device Transfer
If you have Android backup or device-transfer enabled on your phone, the following are included:
AB_MultiSave.xml— your saved game progress.ARPG_Settings.xml— your audio settings.
Local crash diagnostics are explicitly excluded from backup and device transfer and never leave your device through this mechanism.
3. Advertising
Abyssal Bits displays banner and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as advertising identifiers, approximate device and location information, and ad interaction data, in accordance with Google's own privacy and advertising policies.
You can review Google's practices here: https://policies.google.com/privacy and manage your advertising ID preferences in your device's system settings.
Rewarded ads are optional — you choose when to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward; ads are never shown unexpectedly during gameplay in a way that blocks core controls.
4. Children's Privacy
Abyssal Bits is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.
5. Data We Do Not Collect
The Game does not implement account login, cloud save/sync, social features, gameplay analytics, location tracking, or access to your contacts, microphone, or camera.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All gameplay data is stored locally on your device only. You can delete all Game data at any time by clearing the app's storage/data from your device's Settings, or by uninstalling the Game.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the Game's features or third-party services change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
