What’s in the first production release
Selected cloud folders, stored where you choose
Connect Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or Dropbox, choose a cloud folder, and select the local Android destination through the system storage picker.
Manual and scheduled synchronization
Run a sync when you need it or configure recurring background synchronization. Supported schedules can use a preferred local start-time anchor, while Android ultimately controls exact background execution timing.
Direct, local-first architecture
File transfers run directly between your Android device and the cloud provider you authorize. Cloud2Local does not require a developer-operated file-transfer backend, and OAuth tokens are kept in encrypted on-device storage.
Optional delete-after-download with safeguards
Source deletion is optional and off by default. When enabled, a source file is deleted only after Cloud2Local has an already-current or newly verified successful local copy.
Control and visibility
- Review synchronization history and status from the app.
- Keep multiple tasks for different cloud folders and local destinations.
- Remove connected accounts and their locally stored authorization state from the app.
- Advertising privacy choices are presented through Google UMP when required by the applicable consent state.
